Carriage and Terms

When supplying artwork please leave ample margins for the printing machine grippers and fore edge trimming.

Copy should be supplied BLACK on white paper. It is important that you either number the pages on the front, or lightly on the back using pencil and enclose a covering letter. All artwork should be well packed and sent by Royal Mail Special Delivery as this guarantees next day delivery, first class mail can take up to three days.

ARTWORK
We can handle most types of artwork but please no bleed off's and no large solids on the cover/pages as extra time is needed for the ink to dry fully.

COVERS
We offer a wide range of tinted Boards and Cartridge Covers. We also have a selection of discontinued quality cartridge covers including some unusual covers from 90gsm to 135gsm in weight. Samples sent on request.
The booklet prices include the following:-
Enlarging or reducing line illustrations for the front cover.
All basic typesetting for the front cover, offset printing in black ink on both sides of the cover, inside pages, collating, wire stitching, folding, fore-edge trimming and an interleaved wire bound copy if required.

TERMS
Booklets are normally despatched within seven working days (for booklets with large printed solids allow at least four extra days for ink drying) from receipt of copy. A pro-forma Invoice will be sent to new customers. Payment is required within 7 days of the invoice date. Overseas customers must remit in Pounds Sterling
VAT will be charged where appropriate.
At present there is no VAT on the origination and printing of booklets, catalogues, leaflets and the carriage charge.

Envelopes can be overprinted in black ink (£25.00 per 1000)

CARRIAGE
Carriage is charged at cost. Parcels are sent for next day delivery by Inital City-Link. Customers may also have parcels uplifted by their own carrier. We can also deliver to Edinburgh and the surrounding area ourselves.
